the good is only temporary
the evil it does is permanent.

The best way to find yourself
is to looser yourself in
the service of others.
Strength does not come
from physical capacity.
It comes form
Live as if
you were to die tomorrow
Learn as if
You were to live forever.
You must not loose faith in Humanity.
A life of sacrifice
is the pinnacle of art,
and it full of true joy and happiness.
A truly noble soul to have been born in our great country and to have shown the entire world the art of living peacefully.
Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru
Whenever if think of Chacha Nehru, as he is fondly remembered by one and all for his immense love for children, culminating in his birthday, 14 th December, being celebrated as children's day, i am reminded of a few things which were so much a part of him.
The Teen Murti House

His love for his country
An adoring father to his only child Indira.
His bent towards everything scientific.
And being a workaholic..... his last lines . written on a piece of paper in his study"
'the woods are lovely dark and deep, but i have promises to keep, and miles to go before i sleep, and miles to go before i sleep'.
On the eve of Independence of India, he gave his world famous speech, " tryst with Destiny":
Long years ago we made a tryst with destiny, and now the time comes when we shall redeem our pledge, not wholly or in full measure, but very substantially. At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom..........................To the nations and people of the world we send greetings and pledge ourselves to cooperate with them in furthering peace, freedom and democracy. And to India, our much-loved motherland, the ancient, the eternal and the ever-new, we pay our reverent homage and we bind ourselves afresh to her service.

From speaking at top IT Seminar and across the country and beyond into the world. Speaking at Twitter conference including a speech at the famed Kodak Theater, Mahesh Murthy has done it all.

Eyes with the vision of a Prophet. Or a Messiah. God sent.

I had better stop. I know what you are thinking. That is am biased.
Well, if you have made your way across the virtual haze and met him in person ( as i had the opportunity ) even if for a handful of , minutes, you would probably agree with me.
Finally here is a man who has the pulse on both IT revolution and his nation.
Without much ado, i simply wish him the best for his future endeavors.

Prince in waiting A PM in waiting or better put a Leader in waiting.
Forget the jealous critics. Forget the sycophants. Forget the dimples. or the crinkly hair, or the peaches and honey complexion, or the Pillion ride, driving the security crazy. Forget the silver spoon. Or the nobel dynastical lineage. Forget a rock of a mother. Or the ever fussing older sisiter Priyanka who could give a run for money to Ekta kapoor in sisterly affections towards a younger brother.
Forget the foriegn girl friend. Or that fact that he is the most eligible bachelor in Asia. Forget everything but his single minded focus on getting to know India from the grass roots. One step at a time.
I am the last person to comment on Politics, as it does not run either in my family or friends circle. But from whatever i have gathered in bits and parts from media, he is here to stay. And prove his detractors wrong.

My good wishes to you :)
So there goes the list. It was fun , though daunting to compile it. Hope you enjoyed!
